Making Nettle Cordage
I use nettle cordage to decorate the Neolithic and Bronze Age replica pottery, wrapping it around the clay pot and gently pressing it against the wall of the pot, leaving an impression in the clay, before the pot dries.
Here is a short video on how I make the nettle cordage, but soft rushes, grasses and willow bark can also be used to make cordage.
